Senior hire joins to drive next phase of growth.

BPL, the world’s leading independent credit and political risk insurance (CPRI) broker, today announces the appointment of Emilia Levett as Chief Operating Officer.

Levett joins BPL from WTW, where she most recently served as Head of Strategy & Execution, Global Direct & Facultative, having previously held the position of Chief of Staff within the business. In these strategic roles, she focused on driving business growth through greater global connectivity and consistency, while championing the use of data and analytics to enhance client decision-making and execution.

With nearly a decade in the industry, Emilia has broad experience across insurance and reinsurance product lines, including roles in the Financial and Executive Risks Specialty business and a period based in New York. She also led, on an interim basis, the Facultative Great Britain business and Data & Analytics for Direct & Facultative. She began her career in the insurance industry as a CPRI broker, working with financial institutions and corporate clients.

In her role as BPL’s Chief Operating Officer, Emilia will work across the business globally, supporting the delivery of strategic priorities, including by harnessing data, AI and technology solutions, and helping to build out the broker’s high-performing teams.
She joins BPL at a point of strong momentum for the business, following its recent expansion into Japan and minority investment from Preservation Capital Partners, which is supporting the firm’s continued international growth and development.
