Every year, BPL colleagues nominate and vote on a headline charity to support for the coming 12 months. This year, the MS Society won out, thanks to Nathan McArthur from our London office putting it forward for consideration.

More than 150,000 people in the UK live with Multiple Sclerosis, a condition that affects the central nervous system and thus can cause wide-ranging difficulties with walking, moving, seeing, thinking and feeling. Currently, treatments and specialists can help people to manage their condition and its symptoms, but the MS Society is working on raising £100 million to develop treatments that can slow, stop or reverse the progression of MS altogether.

This week, BPL finalised a £25,000 donation to the charity’s “Stop MS” campaign to help fund this vital research and we look forward to continuing to work with the MS Society and supporting its mission to bring hope and support to everyone affected by MS.
